CLIMATE

The word climate refers to the weather variation systems of any specific area over a period of time.The change in climate is the hardest problem in the world that is faced by the people of the country in day to day life.

The climate of India resolves into six major climatic sub types; their influences give rise to desert in the west, alpine tundra and glaciers in the north, humid tropical regions supporting rain forests in the southwest, and Indian Ocean island territories that flank the Indian subcontinent.

From the equator United Kingdom(UK) has a mid latitude between 50-60. In this area, the large temperature variation creates atmospheric instability and this is a major factor that influences the often unsettled weather the country experiences, where many types of weather can be experienced in a single day.This is due to its position in the world. It is positioned on the western seaboard of Eurasia,These boundary conditions allow convergence between moist air known as maritime and dry continental air.

TEMPERATURE

India and uk has large variation of climate.Some of these climates are listed bellow:-

Due to the difference in the temperature of the place the the lifestyle and clothing of the
place varies.So,here comes our next topic that is

CLOTHING

INDIAN CLOTHING

Every state will have different climates. So, clothing will be different.like eg- A cold place
like Drass which is the coldest place in India.in Drass temperature ranges up to -45c in
winter and 10 c in summer. The clothing conditions there will be as follows:-

Here skin of yalk is usually worn to
keep people warm.The people make
use of this skin as to convert it to
decorative cloth material.

The next example that i am going to
give you is of a place where
temperature rises to 50cin day
and 15c at night.the name
of the place is "THAR DESERT".

The traditional dress that is
worn here is usually white as
it absorbs less heat.

There are total 28 states and 7 union territories of India.Mostly all of them
have different clothing style.Clothing style 0f some of the states is shown bellow
